How to use Live Crypto Prices

This live crypto price tracker shows the current value of major cryptocurrencies in US dollars, euros, and pounds, side by side with the 24-hour percentage change so you can see momentum at a glance. Pick a coin — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, XRP, Dogecoin, Polkadot, Litecoin, Chainlink, or TRON — and prices are fetched live from the CoinGecko market data API, which aggregates trades across hundreds of exchanges into a single volume-weighted figure. There is no sign-up, no wallet connection, and your selections never leave your browser beyond the price request itself.

  1. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to price from the dropdown.
  2. Press Get price to fetch the latest figures from the CoinGecko API.
  3. Read the live price shown in USD, EUR and GBP side by side.
  4. Check the 24-hour change — green means up, red means down over the last day.
  5. Switch coins and fetch again to compare, or retry later if you are rate-limited.

Your query is sent to CoinGeckoto fetch results. We don't store it.

How crypto prices are calculated

Unlike a stock with one listing venue, a cryptocurrency trades simultaneously on hundreds of exchanges, each with its own order book and a slightly different price. A market-data aggregator like CoinGecko collects trades from across these venues and computes a volume-weighted average, giving more influence to exchanges with higher real trading volume. That is why the figure here can differ by a fraction from any single exchange you check: it represents the broad market rather than one venue. The 24-hour change compares the current price to the price exactly one day earlier, expressed as a percentage.

What the displayed figures mean
FieldMeaning
USD / EUR / GBPThe live price expressed in three major fiat currencies
24h changePercentage move versus the price 24 hours ago
Green changePrice is higher than a day ago (gain)
Red changePrice is lower than a day ago (loss)

Reading the 24-hour change responsibly

A single 24-hour percentage move is a snapshot, not a trend. Crypto markets are highly volatile and trade around the clock, so a coin can swing several percent in either direction within hours on relatively thin news. Use the figure to understand recent momentum, but avoid treating one day's move as a forecast. Prices here are for information only and are not financial advice; for trading decisions always confirm the figure on the exchange you actually use, since spreads, fees and slippage will affect the price you pay. Because CoinGecko's free tier limits request frequency, results are briefly cached and you may occasionally be asked to wait before refreshing.
