How to use Uzbekistan Income Tax Calculator

This Uzbekistan income tax calculator works out the flat 12% personal income tax that applies to employment income in Uzbekistan for 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Uzbekistan withholds the 12% at source, so if you earn UZS 100,000,000 your income tax is UZS 12,000,000. A 0.1% pension-account contribution is documented but not deducted, so the figure is a transparent estimate on gross salary. The calculator shows your income tax, effective rate and take-home pay in Uzbekistani som, and lets you compare any two tax years side by side.

  1. Select your tax year (2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026).
  2. Enter your annual gross income in Uzbekistani som (UZS).
  3. Keep the filing status as Individual.
  4. Click Calculate to see your income tax, effective rate and take-home pay.
  5. Turn on the year-comparison view to see two tax years side by side.

How Uzbekistan’s flat 12% income tax works

Uzbekistan levies a single flat personal income tax of 12% on employment income, withheld at source. The flat 12% rate has applied since the 2019 reform replaced the old progressive scale, and it is unchanged across 2023 to 2026, so the calculator returns a consistent 12% effective rate on gross salary.

Pension contribution not modelled here

Employees also pay a mandatory 0.1% contribution to the individual pension account (INPS), withheld in practice. It is documented but not deducted, so the calculator shows income tax on gross as a transparent estimate. The som is shown without decimals. Consult the State Tax Committee for exact figures.
