How to use Belarus Income Tax Calculator

This Belarus income tax calculator works out the flat 13% standard personal income tax on employment income for 2023 to 2026. Belarus withholds 13% at source, so a gross salary of BYN 30,000 pays BYN 3,900 of income tax. A punitive 25% rate applies only to undeclared income. The calculator shows your income tax, effective rate and take-home pay in rubles and lets you compare any two tax years side by side. The employee 1% pension contribution and a standard deduction reduce net pay in practice and are documented but not deducted.

  1. Select your tax year (2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026).
  2. Enter your annual gross income in Belarusian rubles.
  3. Keep the filing status as Individual.
  4. Click Calculate to see your income tax, effective rate and take-home pay.
  5. Turn on the year-comparison view to see two tax years side by side.

How Belarus’s income tax works

Income tax is a single flat 13% standard rate on employment income, withheld by the employer, so the effective rate is 13% of gross at every income level and identical across 2023–2026. A 25% rate applies only to income identified as undeclared.

Contributions and what is not deducted here

Employees pay just 1% of gross to the Social Protection Fund (FSZN) for pensions, while the employer pays a further 34%. A monthly standard deduction also helps lower earners. These affect net pay but are documented rather than deducted, so take-home is shown after income tax only.
