How to use Dominican Republic Income Tax Calculator

This Dominican Republic income tax calculator works out Dominican Republic income tax (ISR) on the 0/15/20/25 scale for 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. The first RD$416,220 is tax-free, then 15%, 20% and 25% bands apply. The brackets have been frozen since 2017. How the Dominican Republic’s 0/15/20/25 ISR works

The Dominican Republic taxes income on a progressive scale: the first RD$416,220 is tax-free, RD$416,220–624,329 at 15%, RD$624,329–867,123 at 20% and the excess at 25%. Annual indexation has been suspended since 2017, so the same thresholds apply across 2023 to 2026.

Social security not modelled here

Employees also pay social-security contributions (pension and health, around 5.91%). These are documented but not deducted, so the calculator shows ISR on gross as a transparent estimate. Consult the DGII for exact figures.
