How Jamaica’s 0/25/30 PAYE works
Jamaica taxes employment income through PAYE on gross: the first J$1,500,096 a year is tax-free, income up to J$6,000,000 is taxed at 25% and the excess at 30%. The threshold and rates are stable across 2023 to 2026, so the calculator applies the same bands each year.
Statutory deductions not modelled here
Statutory contributions (NIS, NHT and education tax) further reduce net pay. They are documented but not deducted, so the calculator shows PAYE income tax on gross as a transparent estimate. Consult Tax Administration Jamaica for exact figures.
