Why Antigua and Barbuda have no personal income tax

Antigua and Barbuda abolished personal income tax in 2016 and have not reintroduced it. Income tax is modelled as a single 0% bracket spanning all income, identical across 2023 to 2026, so whatever salary you enter the income tax is zero and take-home equals gross for the default case.

Contributions, not income tax

In practice employees still pay Social Security, Medical Benefits and Education Levy contributions, but these are not an income tax; they are documented but not deducted. The East Caribbean dollar is pegged to the US dollar at EC$2.70 = US$1. Consult the Inland Revenue Department for confirmation.
