Why Saint Kitts and Nevis have no personal income tax

Saint Kitts and Nevis levy no personal income tax on individuals (a corporate income tax applies to companies). Income tax is modelled as a single 0% bracket spanning all income, identical across 2023 to 2026, so whatever salary you enter the income tax is zero and take-home equals gross for the default case.

Contributions, not income tax

In practice employees still pay Social Security and a Housing and Social Development Levy on earnings, but these are not an income tax; they are documented but not deducted. The East Caribbean dollar is pegged to the US dollar at EC$2.70 = US$1. Consult the Inland Revenue Department for confirmation.
