How to use Image to PDF
Convert images (JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP) to a PDF document entirely in your browser. Multiple images become multiple pages in a single PDF. Choose page size (A4, Letter, original image dimensions) and orientation. Perfect for creating photo albums, submitting scanned documents, or packaging image assets for sharing.
- Upload one or more images using the file picker or drag-and-drop.
- Reorder the images to set the page sequence.
- Select page size (A4, Letter, or "match image" for exact pixel dimensions).
- Choose portrait or landscape orientation.
- Click "Convert to PDF" and download the resulting document.
Your data never leaves your device — 100% private processing.
Page layout and image fitting
"Fit to page" scales the image to fill the chosen page size (e.g., A4) while maintaining aspect ratio, with white margins on the shorter sides. "Fill page" scales and crops the image to completely fill the page with no margins, which may crop the edges. "Original size" creates a PDF page exactly matching the pixel dimensions of each image, resulting in variable page sizes but perfect pixel-level reproduction. For submitting photo documentation or scanned forms, "Fit to page" on A4 or Letter is the standard choice.
Quality vs. file size considerations
Images are embedded in the PDF at their original resolution with no downsampling during conversion. For print-quality PDFs, use source images at 300 DPI or higher. For digital sharing, 96–150 DPI is sufficient. The resulting PDF file size is approximately equal to the sum of all input image file sizes plus a small overhead (~5 KB) for PDF metadata. To reduce PDF file size after conversion, use the PDF Compress tool to re-encode embedded images at a lower quality setting.
