How to use Social Media Fonts Generator

The Social Media Fonts Generator converts plain text into Unicode pseudo-font styles instantly in your browser, with no uploads and no external API calls. It produces 17 variants including bold serif, script, fraktur, circled, fullwidth, and upside down styles so you can format display names, captions, and bios for platforms that do not support rich text formatting directly.

  1. Type or paste your source text into the input box.
  2. Review the generated style list; each row updates as you type.
  3. Click Copy next to the style you want to use.
  4. Paste the copied text into your social profile, caption, or comment field.
  5. If a style renders poorly on your target app, switch to a more widely supported variant such as bold or monospace.

Your data never leaves your device — 100% private processing.

How Unicode social font conversion works

This tool does not install fonts or modify CSS. Instead, it maps each Latin letter and supported digit to alternate Unicode code points, primarily from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block (U+1D400–U+1D7FF), plus explicit exception code points that sit outside contiguous ranges. Because conversion happens character by character with `String.fromCodePoint` and `Array.from`, surrogate pairs like emoji remain intact, punctuation passes through unchanged, and styled output stays deterministic across all supported browsers.

Accessibility caveat for decorative Unicode text

Decorative Unicode should not replace essential text in headings, instructions, or alt text. Screen readers can announce mathematical letter names (for example “mathematical bold capital A”) instead of natural words, which reduces comprehension for assistive-tech users. Search engines and platform search tools may also normalize or ignore stylized characters inconsistently. For inclusive UX, reserve social-font output for optional visual decoration and keep a plain-text equivalent anywhere readability or discoverability matters.

Worked examples

Bold serif output

Inputs: Hello 123

Result: 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝟏𝟐𝟑

Script exceptions

Inputs: Be

Result: ℬℯ

Fraktur exceptions

Inputs: Hi

Result: ℌ𝔦
