How to use Countdown Timer

The countdown timer creates persistent event countdowns that tick live in your browser. Add named events with a target date and optional time; each event shows days, hours, minutes and seconds remaining and persists across page refreshes via local storage. Use it to track project deadlines, birthdays, product launches or any future milestone.

  1. Enter an event name (optional) and select a target date and time.
  2. Click Add Event to start the countdown.
  3. View live-ticking countdowns for all your events.
  4. Delete individual events when no longer needed.

Your data never leaves your device — 100% private processing.

How the countdown is stored

Event data is saved to your browser's localStorage, meaning events persist when you close and reopen the page without requiring an account. Data stays on your device and is not sent to any server. Clearing browser storage or switching devices will remove stored events.
