The business days calculator counts working days between two dates or finds the date that falls a specified number of business days after a start date. It supports standard Mon–Fri and Mon–Sat work weeks, lets you exclude custom public holidays, and shows a breakdown of calendar days, weekend days, holiday exclusions and resulting business days.

What counts as a business day
A business day is any day that is not a weekend and not a public or custom holiday. In most countries this is Monday through Friday. Some cultures observe Friday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday work weeks; use the custom configuration for those. The holiday list is entirely user-defined — enter national holidays or office-specific closure dates as needed.
Worked examples
Four full work weeks
Inputs: Mon Jun 2, 2025 → Fri Jun 27, 2025 (weekends only)
Result: 20 business days
Holiday season, US holidays excluded
Inputs: Mon Dec 22, 2025 → Fri Jan 2, 2026, skip Christmas + New Year
Result: 8 business days (10 weekdays − 2 holidays)

- Business day
